A Tender Hope is the final book in the wonderful Cimarron Creek trilogy by Amanda Cabot. Thea Michener, who readers of Cabot's will remember as the precocious baby sister of Sarah in her previous trilogy, Texas Dreams, has come to Cimarron Creek in hopes of leaving her tragic loss of husband and baby behind her. She brings with her Aimee Jarre, a Frenchwoman looking for the mother who gave her up for adoption. Together they find friendship and new lives in the town. Jackson Guthrie is a Texas Ranger, determined to find the outlaw gang who killed his brother. He knows something Thea doesn't- her husband was a member of that gang. I thoroughly enjoyed this last installment and how lots of little threads from previous books were tied together. I look forward to more stories from Amanda Cabot in the future.
