Book: Vengeance & Sin by Sara Hinds

I read this on release and loved catching up with Jade and the Vengeance guys again. Jade is such a confident FMC; she has an absolute heart of gold and her mission to protect her girls is not one she takes lightly. She is kind and sweet without being saccharine and has a backbone of steel; I absolutely believe there are sharp edges underneath all that positive attitude and she will do whatever it takes to help her found family. This is slow burn why choose and I like how the relationships are going at their own pace. Zander is gone for Jade though and Kratos has definitely fallen under her spell. The others aren't quite there yet and I liked how the romance feels organic rather than being forced as this book is more about Jade experiencing freedom and the real world for the first time.
The audiobook is next level; both narrators are new to me and I loved their performances with the duet narration making it even better. I have been a die hard Roderick fan since day one but JD Tanner had me realising just how funny Zander is and I had always thought of Trent as a bit of a softie but the gravelly voice has me thinking otherwise now! Kitty Perrelli was awesome too; I think frustrated Jade may have been my favourite Jade especially when it came to her reactions to the guys although cute Jade was a close second. The emojis, the happy egg dance and every time she called Kratos "daddy" in front of someone had me cracking up.
The book takes a turn towards the end and grovel is about to be incoming. It's not too bad a cliffhanger and I am ready to start taking some more of these rings down in book two!
My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read
