After finishing Cemetery Boys this summer with the fam on a road trip, it seemed only fitting the listen to the second book all together on another road trip, and wouldn’t you know it, the perfect trip was scheduled just after release! 🙌
It was so great getting back with all these amazing characters, as they faced new dangers and mysteries.
There is truly such an amazing cast of characters in his series, so hard to pick a fave (except it’s definitely Maritza. 🤭) This time we got to spend a bit more time with Julian’s friends/family, and I loved seeing a bit more of them.
Julian is such a fun character; he just kind of wants to be a silly teenage boy, but is still dealing with that whole thing of him being a ghost not that long ago.
Yadriel is coming into more responsibility in his brujx community, which was fun to see, especially having his friends tag along with him.
Overall, we had a great time with this new Cemetery Boys adventure!
Audiobook notes: Avi Roque was back, and just as good this time around, and this time joined by Vico Ortiz who is an absolutely phenomenal voice actor, with all the amazing voices and performances thorughout. Truly a fabulous audiobook production.
