There is so much packed into this novella; plenty of spice, action, and Zayden and Liam shaped shenanigans (I'll be side eyeing candy canes from now on). I have read Graves but not the Gallows Hill series and although I am starting at the end I will definitely be going back to listen to Skyla's story as I liked that even with their HEA, there was still a little light tension within the group. The full cast duet narration is amazing too; there are a lot of characters and despite a couple narrators pulling double duty it was easy to tell them all apart. I can't even pick a favourite this time round!
My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read
