Amazing book that I don't know where to begin.
Characters were diverse and believable.
Plot was action packed and full of details as well as lots of world building and character building.
Never a dull or boring moment. Every chapter gave insight to characters and their growth or improved the plot.
Vilas' personal journey from beginning to end was fulfilling. The Thief's personal story and trauma were well written and so emotional it had me crying by the end of the book.
The relationships built between the characters felt natural. And the mystery and overall story were so compelling I stayed up way later than I should have to finish reading. 😂
Easily my favorite book of the year. Can't wait for book 2!
