Another amazing piece of work thats for sure!
This instalment of the adventures in Amberfell with Phee & Gaap are just as captivating as ever, except this time we have added some more mystery & even more spice.
The way Thryn can bring a blushing smile to my face seconds after almost crying is still a wonder to me. The story instantly grabbed me, the plot of this one thicker than the last. This also ties in the previous two books perfectly without overshadowing the current plot line. The progression of characters and their personalities along with the way relationships continue to blossom are captured perfectly in a banterful, light-hearted way even in serious points.
And the ending... not what I expected at all!
Favourite quote from the book is from Phee on page 109
"Demon, I can keep myself safe. I dont want you to keep me safe; i dont need you to protect me. I need a partner, not a handler."
