Book: Give Me Tonight by Jennifer Sucevic

Once I started reading Give Me Tonight, I could not stop. This has got to be one of the coziest hockey romances I’ve ever read and I am so here for it. For many years, Sloane has been juggling many hats between working, going to school, and raising her younger siblings. When she and her friends go to Las Vegas she wakes up one morning to find herself married to none other than Jax Wilder, a Chicago Railers hockey star and the flirt who sees her and makes space for her and her siblings. While this marriage was supposed to be temporary, what happens when they actually fall in love with each other? And what does this mean for Sloane, the one who has always been strong and holding everything together?
Sloane has always been the one taking care of her siblings and it’s so heartwarming to see her siblings also wanting to take care of her. I love the interaction between them especially when Jax enters the picture. It’s clear they all love Sloane and care about her but it’s also so real to see her responses to this. The future is never clear but Jax makes it so easy because he genuinely loves her and supports her. The moments between the two of them are so well put together and the buildup is also very well balanced. Genuinely, if I could go back and read this again for the first time, I would absolutely want to!
Thank you so much to Jennifer Sucevic and Valentine PR for the gifted ARC! All opinions are my own.
