This book had me in an absolute CHOKEHOLD from the first chapter! The betrayal, the secrets, the dark cursed academia of it all? Absolutely DELICIOUS. This was 100% chaos from start to finish, and I was eating up every second of it.
Alicent was such a strong, independent-ass girl who didn't take shit from ANYONE, and being inside her head was genuinely hilarious. Elias, Bastian, and Koen were all fantastic, and I loved what each of them brought to the story. Eryx and Pryce, on the other hand? Yeah, I'm still mad at them. 🤷🏽♀️ Apparently, I hold grudges longer than Alicent does. 😂
AND THAT ENDING?! I was screaming, gasping, and immediately begging for the next book. I NEED ANSWERS. 🖤
