Paranormal romance meets (many attempted) murder(s) (and kidnappings) mystery, with many a fun side character, and plenty of magic; I had an enjoyable time with this one.
The prank war was fun (dare I say, pranks may be their love language?), the mystery kind of kept me guessing(? although, I kept coming back to the same culprit, and ended up correct in my guess), and the romantic (and often lustful) tension between these two was high. (The spice = 🔥😮💨)
I really enjoyed each characters’ growth over the course of the book; both with horrible past relationships, and finally meeting their perfect matches. 🥰
I personally found the pacing to be a bit on the slow side, with the occasional lull that would momentarily lose my interest, but before I knew it, something would happen to peak my interest again.
Overall, I thought this was a fun little read for the season!
