Book: Happy Medium by Sarah Adler

Gretchen has developed a successful business as a fake spirit medium, living by the rule to help make her clients' lives better. When her most lucrative client asks for her help in removing a ghost from her bridge partner's farm, Gretchen agrees. The problem? The place is haunted, she can actually see and talk with the ghost, and the owner, Charlie, knows she's a fraud. I wasn't sure what to think for the first few chapters, but Gretchen grew on me and I became invested with the story. Sarah Adler really knows how to write flawed characters with depth and chemistry. This was a fun read!
