Summertime Sadness is a paranormal why choose romance full of grief, secrets, spice, and chaos. Kaitlin is trying to survive the loss of someone she loved, and she is making plenty of messy choices along the way. I did not always agree with her, but it was easy to see that she was hurting.
Kieran, Nash and Kai each brought something different to Kaitlin’s life, and I enjoyed the banter between them even when everything became complicated. I also liked seeing Brandy by Kaitlin’s side through it all.
There was a lot going on, but it never felt like too much. I liked trying to see how all the different pieces would connect, especially with so many secrets still waiting to come out. The music throughout the book was another part I loved. It fit the scenes so well and added even more to the story.
The ending is a major cliffhanger and leaves plenty unanswered, but it made me want to know what happens next. If you enjoy paranormal romance with secrets, spice, and a little chaos, you may want to give this one a try.
