This story was frozen, but quickly thawed…..
It was a good read, I really enjoyed it. The pacing was good and the characters well developed.
We meet Wrenora, a human mage, whose magic is suppressed by shackles. She, like all humans captured by the elves after the war, was turned into a slave. She was bought and taken to the Ice Fortress, where the banished prince lived. The Fortress was made completely of ice, and she was polishing the floors when the prince came home. Prince Callan comes home to find her, and yells for Magdala. She had bought some thralls, captured humans, while he was gone to help with the work. He orgers her to get rid of them, after Wrenora is gone he realizes he needs her and her power. Things happen, they keep getting thrown together, and things start happening between them…. Read it for more.
Had fun reading it. It is a slow burn, but worth the wait. Hope you will enjoy reading it as much as I did. And I’m really sorry for my bad pun earlier. :)
