The story focuses on Knight and Sullivan. They first met on the first day of freshman year. Knight is a football star who's hiding that he's gay, and Sullivan is a music whiz who's unsure about his sexuality. The book covers all their experiences and how their relationship changed during college. I loved this book. Reading this made my heart ache and my eyes well up with tears. Sullivan went through some really terrible stuff. It was like I was a friend, seeing them over the years.
It was heartbreaking to hear about what Sullivan endured. He wasn't, in my opinion, good for Knight. His actions made me want to shout at him.
Knight was, without a doubt, one of the best book boyfriends. He remained humble despite being the star QB. He was really nice and sweet to everyone. Sullivan was everything to him. His story had a lot of ups and downs but still tried to be a better person.
Wow this book was amazing. This is a must-read for fans of college MM romance.
