When this book first showed up in my email, I told myself that I wasn’t going to read it. I didn’t want to cry because I KNEW that it was inevitable. Then, it showed up in my email again, and that time, I decided to do it. Obviously, I was supposed to read it, and I’m so glad I did! What a beautiful story of love for animals, one cat in particular, and how the love for a cat named Archy shaped Ms. Ross’ life. I have my own Archy, except his name is Purrcy, Sir Purrcival Louis Clark, to be exact. I had been a dog mom my entire adult life, and here comes this mostly feral white cat with black and grey patches. The parallels between her story and mine are many, but you don’t have to have that in order to get something from the story. I absolutely loved this book and rate it 5 out of 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
