Thank you Sara Cate for the gifted copy of this audiobook and beautiful ARC copy. All opinions are my own.
Ok, there it is. My new favorite of this series! 🙌
I loved both these characters so much. Amelia, still kind of figuring stuff out about herself. Matis not happy in the life he thinks he should be content in now, post-retirement.
Amelia has had a long standing crush on her Godfather. Matis only now seeing her in a new light.
It’s forbidden, it’s taboo. And yet, the two of them just fit so well. They’re sweet, they’re spicy, and their moonlit walks in Paris are the things dreams are made of! 🥰
I also really loved seeing Amelia and her best friends, and even some of her relationships with the other “Legacy kids” healing a bit during this book. And I may have suspicions on who we may be seeing up next. 👀
Audiobook notes: MULTI-CAST DUET NARRATION! 🙌 This time featuring Desiree Ketchum and Sean Masters for the lead characters, and oh boy were they so good! Both of them delivered wonderful performances throughout, and I need to give a special shout out to Sean’s accent, because 😮💨! It was…very good. 🫠
