When Fatal Secrets ended, I was basically tapping my toes at Taylor James like ... ok... now? Now part two? And ... wow did this deliver.
The second book of the duology brought the tension, the heat. and the resolution of the story between Carter, Jasper, and Tyson.
This is dark with a capital D in the best of way. The fantasies? They are FATAL. (Seriously, read and take the content warnings for SERIOUS.) The action is intense and non-stop from cover to cover.
I loved this romance, I loved the mafia plot line, I loved the friendships, I was just all in this one. The ending was so satisfying that I was just giggling like a fool. We come to these books for the happy endings and this one delivered and then some.
