This was such a great read, I was instantly hooked in to the story of Elysia and the mysterious elf who is visiting her in her dreams. When Elysia is sent as an offering to the high priestess, she is forced into participating in trials to become the new queen. But this comes at a high cost and she had no idea she would soon meet her elf and discover he is far more than she expected.
There is also such mystery surrounding the world, it is slowly revealed as the story progresses and Elysia secretly investigates what happened to the previous queens, which all are forbidden to talk about. It's a quick read, but that doesn't mean there isn't a lot of story packed in. There are twists and the ending has me so intrigued to read the next book and find out what happens next!
