People shouldn't live forever and contract killer Azure helps ensure that balance is restored. Until he is tasked with a somewhat unusual job, one that is not entirely new to him but he tries to avoid nonetheless. Azure's particular genetic capabilities make him the best of the best but will that be enough to face the unknown or the ghosts of his past?
I found Scion by James Islington to be fun, intriguing, fast paced and action packed but lacking in character depth and world building. It was good and I recommend it for those who enjoy easy to read fast paced cyberpunk, sci-fi, and action. I read Scion in just a few hours, it really was entertaining and I enjoyed it, but I did find myself thinking it could have been AMAZING with more development of the world and characters.
