I LOVED this book!!! This was so fun. It started off maybe a little slow for me, but picks up quickly and I was hooked.
When Penelope Grimsorrow’s twin is poisoned into a deadly sleep, Penelope is forced to impersonate her at the ruthless Legacy Trials.
I loved how Penelope really came into her own throughout this book. It was such a great character arc. I hated how she believed in herself so little and thought she couldn't live up to her sister. By the end I loved her confidence and attitude.
The trials were so fun and unique.
And the 3 love interests. Yes please. Honestly I was nervous about the 3 love interests thing because I HATE why choose. Just not for me. This was not it at all. I love all 3 men.
Hawthorne is so sweet and you can tell is really trying to fight how he was brought up and is stuck in making sure he does what is expected of him
Finn the sweet baby golden retriever that you are. He is the best. I love how he was a jokester but knew exactly when something was wrong with Penelope just by looking at her
Gray - my man. The mysterious bad boy. Yes please.
This book had me giggling and spilled some tears too!
Can't wait for book 2
