Thank you The Author Agency and Erin Hawkins for the ARC & ALC.
If you are looking for a quick fun holiday romance I would recommend picking this up! I highly recommend doing it as an immersive read. It is done duet style by Savanna Thomas and Jason Clarke. The MMC is British and Jacob Clarke in my opinion nails the accent!!
You have Charlotte who is a single mom at Christmas just looking to find a little time for herself. She decided to have a one-night stand with Beck who is her best friends soon to be brother in law. Of course this is just supposed to be a one-time thing no strings attached. But the Beck is volunteering at her son Oliver’s school and after helping Oliver with his project finds out Charlotte is his mom. Because some of the other moms are giving Charlotte a hard time because she is single her and Beck decide to fake date to get through some of the school events. And of course while fake dating things start to turn very real. I absolutely loved the relationship Beck forms with Oliver and how he always showed interest in everything he was doing. And Beck and Charlotte’s relationship was so swoon-worthy. I loved how he was always showing up for her without being asked and how much he doted on her. This felt like a spicy Hallmark move in a good way!!
