First I want to say thank you to Hambright and Angela Casella for ARC/ALC.
This was such a fun quick read. I was able to finish it in less than 24 hours! If you are looking for a cute fall read then I would definitely pick this one up. I did this as an immersive read which is definitely the way to go. The audiobooks is dual narrated by Heather Firth and Sean Masters. They both do such an awesome job bringing these characters to life and bringing out their personalities.
I absolutely loved Bianca and Giovanni as well as the meddling Nonnas. I also thoroughly enjoyed all of the Apple Ridge townsfolk we got to meet throughout the story.
Bianca and Giovanni are childhood best friends until their Nonnas had a fight and they lost touch. Their Nonnas have decided to finally make up and so Giovanni and his Nonna come and stay with Bianca and her family. Bianca and Giovanni decide to start fake dating to help Bianca’s family and to help Giovanna overcome his Shirtless Chef videos that he accidentally became famous for. And of course while fake dating it becomes very real. I adored the relationship and dynamics between these two and him talking to her in Italian was SWOONWORTHY….
