Book: Harvest After Dark: Fall Hard: Spicy Autumn Rom-Coms by Kit Winterlyn

Harvest After Dark was a fun and very spicy autumn romance filled with mutual pining, competitive flirting, small-town chaos, and one unforgettable scarecrow.
I really enjoyed Piper’s humor and the way she refused to accept anything less than being chosen openly. Clark could be frustrating with all his caution and overthinking, but I liked watching him finally understand that Piper did not need him to protect her from her own choices.
June, Dottie, the Harvest Date Raffle, and the repeatedly undressed scarecrow added so many funny moments. Piper and Clark had great chemistry, but readers should know that the intimate scenes are extremely explicit and take up a significant part of the second half.
Underneath all the humor and heat, this was also a sweet story about honesty, vulnerability, and choosing someone even when that choice changes everything. It ends with a complete and satisfying happy ending, so it works perfectly as a standalone.
