Sometimes you pick up a sequel hoping it will be good, but Exodus’s Chorus doesn’t just meet those expectations it utterly obliterates them. I absolutely adored this book. It dives head first into the consequences of Oblivion’s Hymn , showing how even well intentioned choices can ripple outward in ways that are nothing short of cosmos altering. The fallout isn’t framed as regret but as the inevitable, breathtaking cost of power, loyalty, and survival. Watching it unfold was utterly gripping.
I adored the whole ride or die energy woven through this story. There’s a genuine sense of family threaded quietly but powerfully between the characters, and it gives the narrative such heart. Even as the stakes climb higher and the danger closes in, this band of misfits never stops showing us what loyalty really looks like. Their bond becomes the anchor of the entire journey, and it’s impossible not to fall for them.
The portrayal of chronic pain and mental health struggles adds a powerful layer of emotional depth, lifting this story to entirely new heights. The sense of helplessness woven through certain moments hits hard, making the emotional impact far more profound. It’s raw, honest representation that doesn’t just enrich the narrative, it makes it unforgettable.
If you’re craving cosmos altering stakes and a found family that punches straight through the heart, this is absolutely the book for you. It’s epic, emotional, and impossible to walk away from.
