Tally and Flip are the goals of every teenage girl with a crush ever. They have known each other for years as the star of the Toronto Terror and the coach's oldest daughter. Now 21, with them having so many friends in common, Tally decides to shoot her shot and try to start something with Flip.
Flip makes an excellent boyfriend. He does all the things that make us swoon. Gifts, putting her first, protecting her, taking it slow and savoring each step of their relationship. Unfortunately things in Tally's life take a couple turns into the complicated, making her last semester of university much harder. It's tough seeing what all Tally has to go through, through no fault of her own.
The best part of their relationship is the giant family they have through the Terror that is ready and willing to help when needed. They are a found family for the ages. Flip's two best friends also help when he needs a reality check. I also loved how they handle the worst of the issues. I won't spoil what happens other than to say it's dealt with in an extremely mature way, the kind of problem-solving that leads to a lifelong love, not divorce.
In short, all the green flags for Flip and Tally, as long as they have the rest of the Terror for the assist. This book rounded out the series perfectly 🥰
