Returning to the world of Cemetery Boys was something I was SO EXCITED about and the story was beautiful, exciting, and heartbreaking.
The fallout from Cemetery Boys continues to follow Julian and Yadriel as they navigate their place in the brujx community, in high school, and the world at large.
Full of messages about love, acceptance, healing, family both blood and chosen, I was hit by the beauty of the story time and time again. As a white woman in her 40s this book shouldn't have made me cry this much but it did. A lot.
Beautifully written, with characters I just wanted to hug and protect, and a story that kept me turning pages like I would die if I didn't find out what would happen next, Aiden Thomas is on my auto buy list now and forever.
