The Starlight Savior is a story with rich worldbuilding, an interesting elemental magic system, forbidden magic, forgotten memories, and a chosen one FMC. The story was fast paced and really well written. The story is rich with political intrigue and a world that will be destroyed if they cannot learn to remove the mist.

Saige, the FMC was hardened and used to closing herself off. Magic is forbidden in the kingdom she is in and she is used to hiding herself away, but after she is taken away to another kingdom, she begins to see that her magic is not all bad and in fact is necessary to battle a mist that has ravaged and destroyed the land. Saige also begins to meet long lost family that she never knew existed. Conor, the MMC, is the son of the general of this new land and one of the few people who she begins to trust. However, everyone is keeping secrets from Saige inclusing those she starts trusting. Overall, I really loved the story and the developing feelings between Conor and Saige. However, I really wanted to see more tension and yearning between them. I am excited to see what else comes of this world and cannot wait to continue.
