From the beginning, Tully and Lola were perfect and the example of opposites attract. He’s a hockey player and she’s a creative tattoo artist who wasn’t really interested. Depsite being deeply in love and supportive of one another, one day, Lola seemingly disappears. It’s not until a few years later that they unexpectedly cross paths and this time Tully isn’t letting her go without a fight.
I love a good second-chance small-town romance and Willow Aster blew it out of the water with this one. There were a couple things I expected but I didn’t anticipate holding my breath so many times while reading Tully and Lola’s story. I also was not expecting the dual-timeline flashback chapters but it really worked to enhance the story and added the perfect amount of heartbreak.
