The Ending. 💔 I knew it was coming, but nothing could have prepared me for that level of heart-shattering devastation. Hollow Huntress isn't just a book; it’s an emotional marathon that left me completely spent.
​Mara is the type of FMC I live for; fierce, sassier than she has any right to be, and beautifully broken. Watching her navigate a life built on lies, and as those lies unravel, coming to terms with her biggest fears of losing those she loves? Chills
​But can we talk about this Found Family?! 🥺 Honestly, they are the heartbeat of this story. The bond between Mara, Crew, Damien, Locke, and Bronwyn is absolute gold. Damien provided the perfect amount of comic relief exactly when I needed it most—his timing is everything, even when the world is falling apart.
​As for the "enemies-to-lovers" of it all... it felt more like a one-sided "I hate you / I’ve always wanted you" dynamic because Crew never stood a chance against her. Their bond is palpable, the banter is top-tier, and the spice is delicious.
​The Vibe: Traumantasy meets Urban Fantasy with a side of Mafia intensity. If you love the dynamic of Angels and Demons, you need this on your TBR. Just... prepare your soul for that ending.
