I was looking for a book to get me in the mood for spooky season and this book did not disappoint. It definitely had all the dark gothic vibes I was looking for.
In this you are going to meet our FMC Andra who is light witch. She had lost her mom at young age and the town and her uncle have helped raise her. One day the monsters show up in her town and demand that she go and turn herself into Vasara and pay for her mother’s sins or they are going kill one person a day in her town.
She decided she is going to go and do whatever she can to save her town. While on her journey she meets so many different characters including our MMC Gerrick. This story was completely action packed and always had you guessing what was going to happen next and who are we going to meet next. Also the slow burn and tension between Andra and Gerrick was so good!! I also loved that throughout the story Andra is also finding herself and her own strength within herself.
I definitely did not see that ending coming and it had me completely shocked. I am curious to see where book 2 is going to go.
In this book you are getting monsters/creatures, witches, elemental magic, he trains her and secrets.
Can’t wait for book 2!
