This was just fine for me. The 2nd half was definitely way better than the first half.
I'm not really into historical stuff or Bridgerton type things but Vampires yes please. So I thought it'd give it a try and maybe thats my own fault
The first 25% I didn't like at all and was so bored. Thankfully once Liam and Effie met it got much better. The whole what Liam could do and was going on in his mind was so confusing and I would have liked that explained way earlier on.
I really liked both of their characters especially Liam. What a sweetheart.
I did like the few twists at the end regarding the vampire lady and Effies family...members...
It was a good cliffhanger ending too.
