A beautiful, wonderful story. This cozy fantasy has definite Beauty and the Beast vibes along with Christian values. The FMC is so sweet and wholesome, the MMC grumpy and hard, except around her. The POV is from the FMC, and the book is no-spice - you can trust that this author is always no spice and Christian values.
It is easy to love the characters in this town. Since this is the second book in the series you get to see the same characters again in this book. The relationships between the characters is fun and heartwarming.
I would read the first book before reading this book, it is not required to understand what is going on but it would make the story better. I recommend both books!
