Did I listen to all of the Riley Thorne books in one weekend? Yes, yes I did. Not a moment of regret either, because Riley is definitely my new favorite. And so is Natalie Duke. But if I choke and die while drinking and listening to these books, I will be sending my hospital bills somewhere. Just saying.
Riley’s psychic ability comes in super handy when a well-dressed corpse turns up in a closet. And that’s just the first one. I really can’t describe how delightful these books are. Just the right mix of mystery, murder, and hot, hot private detective action. It’s the perfect go-to when you need something a little lighter and maybe a little hotter. Also old people are hilarious in this. Like seriously, octogenarian hijinks needs to be its own category.
