Because this book made me feel ALL of that all over again. It brought me right back to the early 00's.
The dialogue and playful antics between all the characters were fun to read. I really enjoyed how the author made me fall in love with the rest of the cast, not just the MCs.
I wanted to cheer for our main couple so bad, for them to feel the full experience of love. Not only that, but I just didn't feel like they were a forever lasting epic end game kind of love so much as each other's real firsts.
This book put me right back into that very vulnerable place. Especially the first sex scene. I flashed back to my own first time with someone in that way and all the ups and downs my heart experienced at the time.
Are they meant to be together?
It ends on a HUGE cliffhanger that left me needing to know what the heck happens next.
