Right off the bat, I knew I did not like Christopher but was surprised at his ending. Set in Italy, a family books a vacation at the Villa Taccola. The most horrific part of this book is Anna's family. They treat her like pure 💩 even when she ends up saving their lives. Sad thing is I can say that's 100% relatable. Atleast her young nieces treat her with care and like being around her. Weird things begin happening, time is lost, and a person "leaves" but is never heard from again. It all boils down to the house supposedly being haunted by Dama Blanca, and the house needing to be fed. Was written quite well and believable. did enjoy.
