Cam and Auri are on a high-speed collision course with the FIA and it is a wild and crazy ride through the pages Red Flagged.
I am obsessed with the way these characters have continued to grow and change, together and apart, through the first three books of the series but book four is an absolute game changer for both of them.
There are some truly blockbuster moments for both of them, on the track and off, that BLEW MY MIND. They really grew as people, as a couple, as drivers, and as a found family in this book and I was just floored.
This book also had some of the coolest moments in terms of what I would call cinematic sequences. In my head I could imagine so much of this as an Aaron Sorkin-esque F1 political thriller. WALK AND TALKS THROUGH THE PADDOCK. Grilling the FIA and the Marshalls. INTRIGUE AND PLOTTING BEHIND THE SCENES. More quick wit and banter. SEXY MONTAGE TO BREAK THE TENSION. Just absolutely rocked my world.
Can we get this on the screen? Because ... all the accents? Yes. plz.
