Short stories rarely get anything higher than a three star for me. This story was a whole lot of WTF in a good way. There was so much packed in to so few pages. Definitely something malicious at play here but I didn’t really see it coming until it was being spelled out. Who the character was and why things were happening. The whole story was kind of weird and probably should have grossed me out. Instead, all I could do was giggle and laugh at the “inner dialogue“. 10/10 recommend.
