This was a delightfully charming read. I love the setting of it being so very modern day, with cozy reality tv watching, the need for good coffee and pizza, grocery shopping with an app, then adding in bits of magic, incantations, spells, summoning(oops) but it'll probably be fine...
Could you imagine accidentally summoning a demon?? It had me chuckling and smiling the whole way through. Its a light hearted easy read, with such a cute twist on the underworld(being miserably corporate with budgets and ledgers), our demon being endearing and only out to please. The interactions between Eva and Sorren are so fun. Eva is a bit scattered brained and a mess, while Sorren is he opposite, being very clean and organized.
The cats name is Catrick Swayze.... I mean c'mon!!
