To Covet a Wolf is book two in the Bellucci Brothers series. It is also a book you are going to want to check the trigger warnings on. Each of the books in this series are interconnected standalones.
This book follows Remo Bellucci who has been stalking Hallie, an employee at his brother's club. While he hides and watches her from the shadows and through cameras, Hallie is hiding secrets of her own.
For the most part, Remo's intentions stem from a need to ensure Hallie is safe at all times, and that is a result of events that happened to him and his brothers during their childhood.
There is a moment in this book that had me actually putting the book down and asking whether I could get onboard and it relates to somnophilia. I did decide to push on and I'm glad I did as it turns out that this is something Hallie is OK with, but it was touch and go for me for a bit.
For the rest of the book, I was addicted! The slow burn is deliciously torturous. It is filled with yearning, prolonged stares and 'almost' moments. The emotion and passion is intense and brilliantly written, and the spice was at the just right level.
The ending did make me sad though - and not for reasons you might fear.
I am so excited for book three - To Crave a Monster - which is schedule for release on 7 January 2027.
I would like to extend my biggest thanks to Victoria Holliday for the chance to read To Covet a Wolf early.
