Poor Daisy thought she was getting away from the trouble in her life and headed to something new and safer...... Well I guess technically she ends up with both of those things when she runs into Mason. The brooding quiet Mechanic who spent 7 years in prison.
Daisy didn't know what she was getting herself into. She also couldn't predict it would turn out to be one of the best things to happen to her.
I struggled a little with the writing style and how there was a lot of repetitive statements throughout the book. It could just be the style of writing (and it was an ARC copy) as im used to more of a dual or multi pov book written in first person. Where as this is technically a dual pov but written in 3rd person
I would still highly recommend giving this book a chance. It was a really rleasy read and once I got past the first like 4 chapters I read the entire rest of the book in one sitting. I will definitely be looking for book 2 to Come out to see more of the Mercer brothers.
