My Thoughts:
Holy wow. This was such an amazing read, I literally read it in one sitting, staying up WAY too late because I had to know what was going to happen!!! I read this as a standalone but I WILL be going back and reading the first three books in this series and I WILL be waiting impatiently for the 5th! So freaking good!

There were dark mafia vibes mixed with who hurt you, touch her and ☠️, and an absolute down bad morally grey MMC that will leave you drooling. Alex was the hero we all want. The way he cared so much for his daughter Clara and for Charlotte. Ughhh Chef's Kiss.

Charlotte was the epitome of a DV impacted woman on the run (read your trigger warnings, it gets dark in here). I LOVED to watch her journey to find safety, find love and find herself.
All in all...5 ⭐ read for me, without question.
