Heirs of the shattered veil: the first Scar is book one in the series, a dark and immersion fantacy within a fractured world filled with mystery, power, long hidden truths and a haunting tone that pulls the whole story together and reflects the kingdom built on conflict and secrets. The world building for this book is phenomenal 👏 layered and complex that really pulls you in just with that alone! Characters are compelling and emotionally driven which I really liked overall and each one of them has personal struggles that tie into the broader conflicts of the story. Our FMC is Amaria while she isnt my favorite at first but she got better and turned my thoughts around about her the further into the story I got, I'd say she's a 3/5 on my favorite character scale. Now our MMC Max is HOTTTTTTTTTTTTT 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 definitely daddy material he was so steamy I think my kindle melted that or I turned into a puddle of goo 🫠🫠🫠. Definitely a very very slowww burn romantasy it still very good and definitely worth the read.
