Fathom & Fury was a great sequel and an amazing conclusion to this story. I honestly didn't want it to end! I truly enjoyed reading Evan and Rafe's POVs; they were both so intense and intriguing. There were a lot of action scenes, as well as some difficult moments to endure, but we already knew from Fount & Fortune's ending how harsh and dark this book would be. Evan was captured, and Rafe had to flee with Juni. Neither of them had an easy journey ahead, and things were only going to get worse. Although I would've loved to see them reunited sooner, I understand why Mickey kept them apart until, at last, "all hell broke loose." And what a scene that was!
This dark dystopian fantasy duology is now complete, filled with injustice, prejudice, an iron-fisted hierarchy, and a tyrannical emperor, but also with many lovable characters, beautiful friendships, and never-ending love.
