My Thoughts:
Wow. This was so addictive, and so beautiful. I've heard it called Harry Potter for Adults and while accurate, this book is so much more than that.
Shadowmire is a true Romantasy with an entire world built on elemental magic that is filled with trials and academia. It is discovery, passion, romance, magic, trials and mistakes alongside hard earned successes. The cast of characters are fascinating and the narrators did an outstanding job portraying them.
There is so much emotion and tension within this book. There is a love triangle, but that is not the main focus nor the extent of where the passion lies. These characters live for their magic.
And now I live for them.
I am impatiently waiting to see where the next book(s) take us. (That ending tho😒 shall we call it...Cliff Hanger Adjacent).
This was a masterpiece; god tier, 6 star audio and story.
