OOOO I love me some dark academia and this one I couldn't stop reading. I HAD to know what was going to happen between Brooks and Daphne.

I thought this was such an interesting twist on the normal secret society reads that I have done. The Fawn aspect added that much needed twist to the genre for me. I am so intrigued by these characters, I reallllly want to see what is going to happen next. Please? Book 3??
There were so many reasons to hate both Brooks and Daphne if you look at the story honestly, but the passion between them grabbed me from the beginning. The supporting characters are also super interesting. I could have easily read another few hundred pages without batting an eye.
I am not sorry to say that there was a moment I suddenly had something in my eye. Couldn't have been a tear, nope. The last few chapters got a little heavy, and that mini cliff-hanger leading to a follow up book, eeeeek. Adelina noooo lol
All in all, this is a dark romance that I would read again and again. 5 ⭐ without question.
