The Incendiary was everything I wanted from the second book in The Selvaren series!
After everything Ary experienced in The Silversmith, I loved watching her begin to embrace her magic and take control of her own destiny. She has been caged, controlled, and lied to for long enough. This time, she is done allowing other people to decide who she should be.
This sequel was packed with dangerous magic, action, political intrigue, heartbreak, and twists I never saw coming. Every time I thought I knew where the story was headed, LJ Claren surprised me again.
The yearning and romantic tension were incredible! The romance carried so much longing, devotion, and emotional intensity that I stayed completely invested in Ary’s journey. Her character growth was one of my favorite parts of the story. She became stronger without losing the heart and vulnerability that made me love her in the first book.
The Incendiary receives five stars and three spicy peppers from me. If you enjoy powerful heroines, slow-burn yearning, brooding love interests, dangerous magic, and devastating twists, you need to read The Selvaren series!
Make sure you read The Silversmith first because this story continues directly from Book One.
