This one was cute with representation that I hadn't read before. I definitely enjoyed myself for sure.
Just a few things held me back from a 4/5-star rating.
I feel like if a book is leaning more towards spice over plot. The spicy scenes should be a bit longer/detailed. I should not be wondering internally about the lack of stamina of an alpha hockey player that has a serious boyfriend.
Things just felt shallow and rushed to me. Very cute and sweet but lacking depth.
I didn't vibe totally with Kai and I can't totally figure out why. They were kind but maybe a little too immature feeling at times.
Anyway, it was a good book and I recommend if you are into insta lust cute stories! Thank you to the author and The Smuthood for this opportunity.
