This is a cute story of two rival communities living in two separate valleys divided by a small mountain ridge. In a remote mythical land called I Want It, lives two vastly different communities, The Have-Alls and the No-Haves. The Have-Alls Chief Somebody has prized pets called the Squatz which he closely guards. Chief Nobody and the No-Haves decided to go and steal the Squatz for themselves. What happens next turns into a tug of war event, who ends up being the winner, read and find out.
This book has beautiful illustrations with bright, vibrant colors that maintain children’s attention and is very well written and adds in a very important teaching moment about sharing and caring for others. It’s an excellent book for anyone who reads to young children to help them understand the importance of sharing and including everyone in life no matter who they are.
