This was so freaking amazing I couldn't stop once I started. What a hilarious and addictive read. I can't believe I had never read Max Monroe before this...sounds like I have a lot of catching up to do, my poor TBR.

This is a rom com about a Mafia Princess (ex princess?) and an undercover cop, muddling along the complicated mess they're in.
There are so many bits of comedy, of tension, of emotion within. There are some absolutely beautiful quotes buried in the text as well. Max and Monroe are absolutely brilliant writers.
“Love is an honor, dear. It’s an honor to be able to accompany someone through several seasons of their life. To be able to be at their side when they’re soaring and when they’re crawling. To offer them a solution to their tears and be a calming presence in their fears.”
This is a 5 ⭐read or listen. Huge fan of the way these writers represent this genre. The narrators @shiloh_james_narrator and @narratedbyteddyhamilton absolutely nailed it as well. Loved their rendition, I couldn’t imagine anyone else as these characters. I am going to be reading as much Max Monroe as possible from here forward!
