This was a cute contemporary romance story about a cowboy/rancher and a carefree wild woman who are thrown into a fake dating scenario. Callie stumbles into helping Luke retain custody of his son Scout. Insert chaos and a mess which doesn't fit Luke's strictly organized life. Except Luke is exhausted, and he needs help. The chaos may just be exactly what he needs.
The narration was great, both narrators did an amazing job bringing energy and feeling to the story! I think I would have enjoyed a true duet narration where they weren't switching entire chapters off and voicing everyone in that chapter even more, but it really was fun to listen to! The narrators did an amazing job working together and made the story have chemistry.
I thought there were some times when I wanted to smack Luke around a little bit for being...too much. Too strict, too clueless, too boring. I loved Callie's character, she really was fascinating and seemed to be just so positive. When you get these two together there was just such a spark, and I loved watching their relationship develop. Great read/listen!
Thank you to Stacy Travis & Valentine PR for the ALC/ARC opportunity!
