Great story, and I loved the unique magic methodology!
Characters developed well, and the story progressed at a great pace.
My only critique is that there was still some heavy editing required - and yes I’m aware that many ARC’s are sent before final editing, this is just my experience. Many grammatical errors made the story hard to follow, as did the use of ‘quotes’ used to emphasise words or phrases. Once figured out that’s what was happening, it did make it easier, though!
